Brighton Blues are recruiting new players for our U14 season 2011 - 12, and beyond.

We are looking for players who wish to train and play to a high level of rugby against the top teams in the country as part of our highly competitive squad.

At Brighton we believe we offer the highest standard of coaching to be found in the South East for this age grade, with Sussex County and Schools of Rugby Coaches as part of our Coaching Team. Our results back this up, but quality core skills are our main objective as we strive to maintain the highest standards in long term player development.

Many players have moved to Brighton from other clubs from around the County, and have seen their skills and understanding improve greatly. It's a competitive environment, but everybody is given a fair chance.

If you are looking to play County Rugby in the future, then Brighton can provide the environment for you to acheive your goal. 3 of our coaching group are part of the current Sussex U18 Coaching staff, so know exactly what is required to play at this level. Our First XV fixtures are now set up to develop players for this level of rugby against the top sides in the south. Our 2nd XV play in the Sussex A League, so even if new players do not initially make our First XV, they will still be playing to as high a level as any other club in the County.

We also welcome players new to the game, who have maybe started playing at secondary school this academic year.  As well as learning skills and gameplay at training, we run a development side on Sundays with this group of players in mind.

If you want to come along and take a look, please come up to Waterhall at one of the following times:

Tuesday Nights 6pm to 7:30pm on ATP ( north End )
Sunday Mornings 10am to 12 noon on the most northern pitch/ baseball area unless playing away.
Please check the fixture list to check if we are at home.

If you are interested in working hard and receiving a high level of coaching in order to progress your skills to your full potential, please email paul.morley@ntlworld.com for more information.
